Valentine's Concours Carnauba - Exclusive wax for exceptional motor cars

Valentine's Concours Carnauba Wax - A Star is Born

An exclusive new car wax, developed originally by an enthusiast for use on his own vehicles, is now available at www.valentineswax.com

Frustrated that even the most costly automotive waxes had shortcomings, businessman, Patrick Baird, decided to have his own wax made to order. He approached the managing director of Britain’s leading speciality wax blender, Dr Stephen Case-Green, who agreed to take on the project. The British Wax Refining Company began operations in 1914. Dr Case-Green is the grandson of the founder.

So good were the results that Patrick Baird decided to make the product available to other people who care about their cars.

Baird says he needed people with more than mere technical expertise. “Traditional skills and vast experience are essential in producing hand-blended waxes. Also, I wanted to work with people who have an unswerving commitment to producing exceptional quality.”

During the two year development phase a large number of blends were tested. “I got to polish an awful lot of cars, Baird says ruefully.

In fact, much of the initial testing was done on Ferrari paint sample panels. Unlike complete vehicles, the small aluminium panels could be placed under a leading university’s high powered microscopes to assess results.

Valentine’s Concours Carnauba uses a very high concentration of Premium Number 1 Grade Yellow Carnauba wax. Harvested from the leaves of the South American carnauba palm, this is the toughest wax in the world – harder than concrete in its natural state. Carnauba is a safe, natural product. Traces of the wax are used in cosmetics, medicines and confectionary.

A feature of Valentine’s Concours Carnauba is that the wax is extremely easy to apply and polish off. It produces an astonishingly deep 'wet look' finish which is tough and long-lasting, helping to protect paintwork from grime, traffic film, ultra violet light and pollution.

The wax is supplied in a sophisticated black presentation box which contains a 250gm jar of Valentine’s Concours Carnauba, an applicator pad, detailing brush and two high quality microfibre polishing towels.

Patrick Baird believes Valentine’s Concours Carnauba is the finest car wax in the world. Ambitious claim? Perhaps. But a growing band of enthusiasts and professional detailers who have tested the product agree. So confident is he about its qualities, he provides a no quibble guarantee for the product.

“If you’re not entirely happy with our wax, return it and I’ll give you your money back.”
